   What a week it was.  We elected a President, cut interest rates and the Stock Market climbed to record highs.  Those records were not limited to equities as gold and crypto rose too.  It really does look like the last quarter of the year is going to be bullish for your retirement account.

   It seems like when we’re rolling into the holiday season that blockbuster movies are sprinkled further apart than in previous weeks.  As such, I had a hard time committing to a new release last week, but ultimately decided on “Heretic” after reading a few other reviews online.

   I enjoy using the analogy of a play to discuss issues about the first half and the second half of our lives.    The first act introduces the story or theme of the production.

   If you had asked me if I liked musicals while I was a teenager, I might’ve told you I hated them.  Granted, my point of reference was a lot smaller then, and arguing that Disney movies counted as them wasn’t a label I had quite ascribed to them either.

   It was an interesting last week.  We had earnings reports from the Mag 7 and it was not received that well.    The earnings reports were not bad but they were not better than projected and didn’t come with great forecasts.

   We all hope to enjoy long, healthy lives, retaining our physical and mental abilities.  But life doesn’t always work out that way - which is why you need to prepare for a potential incapacity that could affect you and your family.

   Sometimes, I think the scariest types of movies are those steeped in facts and true stories.  For example, accounts of interactions with serial killers in either a documentary or strictly entertainment-focused type are on my list to watch.

   Heads Up!  There is no such word as “their-esteem”, so stop comparing yourself to others around you.  Self-esteem reflects your overall sense of self-worth. Here we find a wide bridge in self-concept.
