   Nothing like a dull week to get your attention.  We had record-setting highs on the averages and indexes and profit taking set in.  Analysts had all sorts of explanations for the how and why when it was just people making sure they captured a profit.

I’m not sure about anyone else, but when I saw the first trailer for “Twisters” debut, I was hoping for a direct sequel to the 1996 original “Twister.”     Well, I’ve come to tell you that none of the characters in the new flick have any relation to the original.

   When I say I’m tired of politics, I know it falls upon deaf ears.  It’s an unfortunate fact that almost everything has a shade of politics touching it and it seems that those locally elected fall short on their oaths of office.

   We had two inflation reports last week.  One reported the Consumer Price Index, which came in lower than expected, and the Producer Price Index which came in higher than expected.  Most attention was placed on CPI and the need for the Federal Reserve to cut rates in September.
