‘Universal gratitude’

   Any time we’re acknowledged for our hard work and achievements, it’s time to celebrate!   It’s easy for us to remember how much time, effort and patience went into the recognition of a job well done.

   Entering June usually signifies two things I’m certain will be happening in my life: hurricane season and processing mom’s garden bounty.  Right now Hurricane season is barely starting, but everyone is pushing safety information and keeping their forecaster eyes on the Gulf and Atlantic.

   We have moved into June with May going out with a bang on Friday.    The personal consumption expenditure numbers were released Friday and it appeared to indicate that inflation was not coming down and basically stuck in place.

   Summertime is almost here - and for many people that means it’s time to hit the road.  But even if you decide to take a vacation, you’ll want other areas of your life to keep working - especially your investments.

   When ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ came out in 2015, all I wanted to do was hear more about Charlize Theron’s “Imperator Furiosa” because she was arguably the best part of that film.  Little did I know that I’d get that chance in 2024 with the release of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
