The nature of rest

   There’s something to be said about achieving eight hours of rest every night.   In theory, it’s a great idea; in reality, clocking in five or six hours might be a more accurate measure.

   The market moved back slightly from record levels last week even with better than expected jobs data and a lowering of inflation measures.  Maybe just the sell on the news and buy on the rumor.  We are still in good shape, but many have the feeling that the economics are poor.

Settling for less

   Wouldn’t it be nice to just settle down, exit off the rat race freeway, kick back and watch the world go by?  I was asked this question several months ago and my first thought was to say yes, but my instincts whispered to me to think again.
