"When we change our attitude, morals we will have the eyes of God" by: Caleb Gibson

Max Lucado shared a great testimony in his book, God Came Near.
“For fifty-one years Bob Edens was blind. He couldn’t see a thing.
“His world was a black hall of sounds and smells. He felt his way through five decades of darkness.
“A skilled surgeon performed a complicated operation and, for the first time, Bob Edens had sight.
“‘I never would have dreamed that yellow is so . . . yellow,’” he exclaimed.
“‘I don’t have the words. I am amazed by yellow. But red is my favorite color.
“‘I just can’t believe red…And of course, sunrises and sunsets.
“‘And at night I look at the stars in the sky and the flashing light. You could never know how wonderful everything is.’”
What a great joy we have to have our eyesight.
To be able to see clearly.
Jesus actually came across a man who was born blind.
We read, “As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth.

“And His disciples asked Him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man his
parents, that he would be born blind?’
“Jesus answered, ‘It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him…
While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.’
“When He had said this, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and applied the clay to his eyes, and He said to him, ‘Go wash in the pool of Siloam’ (which is translated, Sent).
“So he went away and washed, and came back seeing.” (John 9:1-7).
Out of all the miracles of Jesus, healing the blind is one of my favorites.
We were created from the dirt of the ground.
For Jesus to pick up the dirt is a reminder of this.
   He is our creator.
   Jesus wanted him to believe.
That’s what God wants, God wants us to have faith.
Some asked why this man was born blind, yet Jesus answered that it was to do the works of God.
To me, this is Jesus saying, “A miracle is waiting to happen.”
We may see the problem, Jesus sees the miracle.
How did Jesus meet this man?
He met this man by simply passing by him.
See the people who pass you by.
Be aware that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
We are called to love those around us.
When we remember this, our attitude will change. When we change our attitude, our morals will change.
We will begin to have the eyes of God.
God doesn’t just see where someone is in the moment, God sees where you can be.
