   Commissioners Court approved a resolution certifying the county has made a $40,000 grant to the Economic Action Committee (EAC) of the Gulf Coast at the court’s regular meeting Monday, Oct. 28.

   Bay City Community Development Corporation (BCCDC) board members unanimously approved three business grants at their monthly meeting Monday afternoon.

   Early voting is drawing large numbers in Matagorda County, and Friday is the last day to cast an early vote in the Nov. 5 general election.  At Commissioners Court Monday morning, Oct. 28, County Clerk Stephanie Wurtz reported the total was 6,400 early votes cast.
