They told the court of the many 4-H activities in Matagorda County for youngsters ranging in age from eight to 18. Those 4-H activities include raising cattle, food production, nutrition and community service.

   Bay City High School Dungeoneers are polishing their choreography and vocal skills for November’s musical showcase – “Chicago: Teen Edition.”  The acting troupe last produced the Broadway musical in 2013.

   For OB-GYN specialist Dr. LaDonna P. Rutledge, breast cancer is more than just part of her job – it’s personal.  “I am a 7-year survivor of breast cancer myself,” she said during an interview.

   Saturday is jam-packed with events this weekend.  There’s something for everyone including several annual fundraisers, the Bay City Lions Club Rice Festival Queen Pageant, and the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.  The 29th Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is from 8 a.m.
