   The Tidehaven Tigers take on the 2024 season with an impressive resume that includes a trip to the state 3A-2 championship game last December.  The rest of the state has taken notice and the Tigers were among Texas Top 10 listings for for 3A-2 teams.

Touch-A-Truck slated for Sept. 14

   Trucks, tractors, maintenance equipment will roll into the Sports Complex on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for the fifth annual Touch-A-Truck event hosted by the Bay City Parks and Recreation Department.

   Bay City Volunteer Fire Department:  On August 4, at 7:58 p.m., responded to assist Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office with lights on PR 517.  On July 24, at 7:18 a.m., responded to a transformer on fire at the 12000 block of FM 521.  On July 26, at 3:34 p.m.
