TxDOT seeks feedback on potential relief route

   TxDOT is seeking feedback on a feasibility study to explore a potential relief route around the City of Bay City.  The purpose of the relief route is to help reduce congestion, while also improving safety and mobility.  TxDOT has set this up with a virtual public meeting with in-person option.

   Observance of President’s Day falls on Monday, Feb. 16 this year.  All federal offices will be closed in observance of the holiday, including banking institutions and the U.S. Postal Service.  County and city offices will be closed in observance as well.

Congratulations to Jasmine G, whose Digital animated film “Coat of Paint” advances to the Final round and places in the top 6 of the state. Congratulations to Aastha, Corbyn and Taitum, whose documentary “The Last Call” ended its run in the state semi-final round. These young filmmakers will attend the UIL FILM state meet in Austin later this month. The UIL Film contest is part of the UIL Theatre contest and the UIL State Spring Meet
