Matagorda County Coastal & Marine Resources- Texas A&M AgriLife Extension was recently at a catch and learn series of the City By the Sea Museum’s and Texas Sea Grant’s Coastal Connections. The program made a splash. Participants learned how to seine, throw cast nets, set crab net traps, fished, reviewed fish anatomy and concluded with fish printing - a keepsake as part of their day! Contributred photo The Lady Leps have entered the 2025–2026 school year on a mission to be the best they can be - on and off the court. School officials said that all 75 of the female athletes passed every course for the 1st six weeks. They’ve put in the work during 8th period, growing stronger both physically and mentally. They also showed what it means to be true student-athletes by handling business in the classroom.
