   Bay City police responded to the second auto theft incident within a two-week period when officer Luis Moreno, was sent to 2300 7th Street in reference to a stolen vehicle at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8.

   Van Vleck ISD congratulated Van Vleck ISD Police Chief Fred Wesselski on his recent retirement.   He is described as a positive and remarkable leader who served Van Vleck ISD with distinction since 2012.

   This year’s “17th Annual Chicken Fried Steak Dinner” Crisis Center fundraiser returns to the Bay City Civic Center.  The fundraiser will start with drive-through serving at 4 p.m. and lasts until sold out on Friday, Jan. 17, at the Bay City Civic Center, 201 7th St.  Doors open at 5 p.m.
