Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 25, this year.
Local closures include city, Federal, and county offices.
Federal closures are the U.S. Postal Service and all banking institutions.
“Service that falls on the holidays listed below will be completed the following day, and service for subsequent days in the same week will also be completed one day later,” reads GFL Environment’s website.
“In the event that a holiday falls on a regularly closed business day, service for that week will continue as normal. Bay City offices are closed for Memorial Day.”
The Bay City Sentinel office is also closed Friday-Monday, May 22-25, and will return to regular business hours Tuesday, May 26.
