2-vehicle collision claims 2 lives, 1 serious injury

    WHARTON COUNTY – Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers are investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash on State highway 60 near Phillip Street.    The preliminary crash investigation indicates, at approximately 8:23 a.m.

   On Monday, March 4, the Bay City Police Department held a promotional ceremony.     The ceremony was held in the Bay City Council Chambers with Police Chief Christella Rodriguez officiating.

   Playground equipment at Duncan Park, 612 Duncan Avenue, was ablaze when the Bay City Police Department, Bay City Volunteer Fire Department, and Bay City Fire Marshal answered the fire call at about 10:20 p.m. March 8.
