What is the meaning of the sixth Hebrew word, “vav?”
The first mention of this word is in Genesis.
We read, “In the beginning God created the heavens and (vav) the earth.” (Genesis 1:1).
This word for “and” is this Hebrew word vav, it represents a connection something that is connected.
Each Hebrew letter is a picture.
The vav also looks like a hook it is something that is connecting.
This Hebrew word is a reminder that we need to make God’s will take place on this Earth.
Just as Jesus spoke out and said, “not my will but yours be done.”
Today, we have a free will.
We can choose our will or God’s will.
Heaven and (vav) Earth are two reminders of how we need God today.
Why is Heaven so beautiful?
Because God’s will takes place there.
Everyone who will be in Heaven will be there because they are followers of God’s will.
Those who do not follow His will do not receive eternal life.
Also, it’s not by works, our role is to simply believe in Jesus.
When we go back to the six days of creation, we can see how God provided for Adam before he even existed.
Provision was already there before Adam was created.
We are called to bring heaven on earth.
May our churches be a piece of heaven.
It is a number of man because God created us on the sixth day.
Jesus died on the cross taking the fear of 666 away from us.
How was Jesus connected to the cross?
By the nail.
The nail is a picture of the vav.
It is what held Jesus on the cross.
While many may not like the letter six, we can see God’s salvation in this number.
We can thank the Lord for connecting us to God. Through the Cross we can have an eternal connection to God.
He is our mediator and gave his life for us.
