Two males – one 17 and the other 14 – were taken into custody after police were told someone beat on a door on Thompson Drive trying to fight Thursday night, June 23.
Officers were sent to 1401 Thompson Drive at 8:31 p.m. June 23 – they were notified there was someone beating on the door trying to fight.
Dispatch also advised officers that a second caller said one of the males had a gun.
When officers arrived, they spoke to a man who said one of the suspects had a gun and had pointed it towards him.
The man also told officers one suspect threatened to kill the man, police said.
During their investigation, officers found two guns and marijuana.
After further investigation Jaden Nibbe, 17, of Bay City, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (4 oz<5 lb) in a drug-free zone and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reports show.
Nibbe was taken to Matagorda County Jail and booked on the charges.
The 14-year-old male was taken to the police station where juvenile probation was notified.
The juvenile was later released to his grandmother.
