Leopard Players place at UIL meets

    Last week, the Leopard Players copeted at Bi-District One-Act Play contest in Hempstead and once again advanced to the Area Meet which will be at Crosby High School on April 11.
  The following garnered individual awards:
  Kodi Gray - All Star Tech Crew,
  Emma Jaxon Fry - Honorable Mention All Star Cast,
  Hailey Landry - All Star Cast, and
  Ava Cervantes - Best Performer
On Thursday, the Leopard Journalism Team traveled to Needville where they competed in the UIL Writing Events and earned the following awards:
Shelby Hudson - 2nd place medalist & Regional Qualifier in Copy Editing and 6th place medalist in Headline Writing,
Jakob Trevino - 3rd place medalist & Regional Qualifier in Editorial Writing,
Sariah Moore - 5th place medalist in Feature Writing, and
  Emily Rogers - 6th place medalist in Ready Writing.
And on Friday, the Leopard Players Speech Team and other Leopard Scholars competed in several additional academic contests at the UIL Academic District Meet at WCJC. The results for those contests are as follows:
