Bay City Mayor Robert Nelson is an inspired community leader, and a supporter of small business, according to the founder of Blu University, Dan Vega.
Blu University is an online school that teaches students, business owners, entrepreneurs, even doctors and others who have an interest in starting or scaling their business.
Nelson envisions scaling small businesses, creating new businesses, and preparing our students to own businesses in our own community and for all businesses to hire from within the community, Vega said.
To that end the mayor has secured several scholarships for a smillion-dollar education through Blu University.

Nelson has been working with the local chambers, school districts and business owners throughout the county who support this effort.
Vega is an international business owner, serial entrepreneur, educator, speaker, talk show host and business coach, among other things.
Vega is internationally known and has taught elite millionaires.
He is a lead instructor at Blu University and all their instructors are seasoned business owners and entrepreneurs.
“Robert is a dear friend, a leader and genuinely cares for the people in his community, as such I was inspired to support him in achieving his goals to improve his community by providing scholarships for a million-dollar education through BLU University,” said Vega.
A few advantages Blu University can provide include, but are not limited, to the following: learning the A-Z rules of running a successful business, in depth courses on sales and marketing, how to attract powerful alliances, how to get funding for your product or idea, how to negotiate anything, how to become a published author, how to create wealth and many more courses.
The scholarship includes approximately 40 courses that can be completed in less than a year if the student works hard and stays focused.
The only cost to the student is a one-time processing fee of $495.
