Parks master plan update to kick off

Want to give the Bay City staff input on the future of Parks and Recreation 2022 opportunities?
Parks and Recreation is in the process of updating our 2017 Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
We have set our 2022 Department Goals as:

  •   Join the community to create and maintain unparalleled recreational opportunities and unique, high-quality parks
  •   Enhance and improve the quality of life of our unique and beautiful community.

As part of the process we will asking for residents to let your voice be heard by filling out a survey www.surveymonkey.com/r/baycityparks, on our webpage (cityofbaycity.org/190/Parks-Recreation) or Facebook page (@bcpar) and tell us what recreation programs and special events you would like to see, what is needed in our parks and what new parks are needed over the next 5 years as we kick off our Parks and Recreation Master Plan process.
It is a great way to get your voices heard.
Visit the City’s Facebook page or Website and click the survey link.
Hard copies of the survey are available at the Parks and Recreation Office (1209 10th Street), City Hall (1901 5th Street), Municipal Services Building (1217 Avenue J), Riverside Park (7330 FM 2668), Library (1100 7th Street) or any PARD special event.
Completing the survey will enter you for drawings for one day passes to Riverside Park, the City Pools and a chance to be the HomeTown Christmas Parade Grand Marshal!
For more information on the survey, parks or any activities, visit www.cityofbaycity.org.
