Polar Plunge - the City Parks Department’s breath-taking way to begin the New Year – will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Hilliard Pool, 3020 Le Tulle.
“Many kick off their new year differently. Some like to get their feet wet starting a new habit or activity,” said Parks and Recreation Supervisor Kelly Penewitt.
“Some of the Bay City public followed swim-suit by taking the ‘polar plunge’ into Hilliard Pool (3020 Le Tulle) Saturday morning to celebrate the start of 2022.”
The fee is $15 for adults and $10 for children 18 and under, and includes a shirt, donuts and hot cocoa to warm up.
You can register two ways:
- The Parks and Recreation Office, 1209 10th Street, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. until Jan. 7.
- Register on-line at https://cityofbaycity.org. Go to the Parks and Recreation page and click on register.
