The 23-24 Van Vleck HS Mighty Leopard Band was recently recognized for its placement in the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) Region 13 Outstanding Performance Series (OPS) Contest.
The OPS is an advancing competition for concert music.
Much like UIL marching contests, there is a region, then area, and finally a state level of competition.
All three of the Van Vleck band’s pieces will be advancing to area.

As Twilight Falls 1st place Concert
Blue Ridge Saga 2nd place Concert
The Mighty Leopard Band’s recording of all three of these pieces will advance to the next level of competition.
Results for area level of competition will come later this month.
