Water is leaking into the Schulman’s entertainment center and the Bay City Community Development Corporation board is looking at estimates to fix the problem.
BCCDC Executive Director Jessica Russell said the water entered the rear of the building that’s owned by BCCDC.
Digging under the building and putting in a French drain may be a possible solution, she told the board.
The board authorized her to get estimates on fixing the problem.
If the estimates are below $50,000, BCCDC can hire a company to do the work.
The project would go to competitive bidding if the estimates are more than $50,000, Russell explained.
The board also approved a façade grant for Coburn Chiropractic at 6400 7th St.
BCCDC awarded the clinic its requested grant of $2,052 to help with signage.
