Bay City police officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Baywood Drive area after multiple gunshots were reported at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2.
Dispatch received several calls of multiple shots in the area and officers were able to locate a video of the suspect vehicle.
Officers were able to locate multiple shell casings and bullet holes in a residence on Baywood.
None of the occupants were harmed.
The Bay City Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit was contacted.
It was determined that the shooting was the result of an argument between juveniles and a juvenile suspect was under investigation.
BCPD was assisted by the Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office in locating the suspect.
Detectives recovered a Glock 17 pistol from the juvenile suspect, who was subsequently arrested and transported to a juvenile facility for deadly conduct and endangering a child.
