Labor Day celebrations and closures fall on Monday, Sept. 4 this year.
All federal, county, and city offices will be closed for Labor Day.
The United States Postal Service and banking institutions will also be closed Monday.
Bay City, Van Vleck, and Tidehaven ISDs will all be closed in observance of the holiday.
All BCISD, VVISD, and TISD campuses will resume regularly scheduled classes on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
The Bay City Public Library is closed then and return to regular operating hours on Tuesday morning.
The Sentinel office is closed as well and will reopen Tuesday at normal business hours.
