MCFLA Fair & Rodeo Roundup of events

   The Matagorda County Fair & Livestock Association’s 80th Annual Matagorda County Fair kicks into gear this weekend. 
  Swine judging and showmanship start bright and early at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 29. 
  The Senior Citizen Day and Craft Show is from 9 am. until 1 p.m. 
  Steer judging and showmanship start at noon. 
  Kenny’s Funland carnival is open from 4-11 p.m. 
  The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s (PRCA) annual “Pink Night” performance starts at 7 p.m. 
  Friday, March 1 is a full day of events starting with Livestock Judging at 7 a.m. 
  The annual Bucket Calf Show is scheduled at 2 p.m. with the clown and coloring contests to follow afterward. 
  Check out the carnival from 4-11 p.m. 
  The PCRA’s annual “Patriot Night” performance starts at 7 p.m. 
  Saturday, March 2, kicks off with the Junior Livestock Auction at 10 a.m. 
  As the last day of the carnival, hours are from noon until midnight. 
  It’s also the last night to catch the PRCA Rodeo at 7 p.m.
