Pilot Club of Bay City donates to Colonial Memory Unit

Recently our club contacted The Colonial Living and Rehabilitation Center and asked for a wish list for the patients in the Memory Unit.
The Pilot Club of Bay City was able to gift the entire facility wish list.
Items donated included: a microwave for the unit, blankets for each patient in the unit, fidget items, weighted stuffed animals, puzzles, art supplies, assorted snacks and drinks, birdseed, and patio furniture and décor for the Memory Ga.
One of Pilot Club of Bay City’s local projects is supporting local facilities that care for Alzheimer and Dementia patients.
The Pilot Club of Bay City is a service organization celebrating our 75th anniversary this year.
It’s committed to providing care and support for those who suffer traumatic brain injuries and brain-related issues, such as dementia, Alzheimer’s and PTSD, while fostering leadership, service, and friendship to the community.
The Pilot International motto that we also believe is: “To be the service organization of choice, providing caring and dedicated members, whose service accomplishments in communities enhance the well-being of individuals and families.”
