Two AEP crewmen and a Westwind helicopter pilot were honored for helping save a Blessing area man who the crew saw lying in a pool of blood on his property after Hurricane Beryl landed. The crewmen, Ronald “Cole” Overcash and Joel Hilburn, saw Edward Gurecky on his driveway, and pilot Marcus Perez immediately landed the helicopter and acted quickly to help Gurecky.
