TxDOT seeks feedback on potential relief route

TxDOT is seeking feedback on a feasibility study to explore a potential relief route around the City of Bay City.
The purpose of the relief route is to help reduce congestion, while also improving safety and mobility.
TxDOT has set this up with a virtual public meeting with in-person option.
The virtual will be from 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 until Friday, March 6.
The in-person will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Bay City Civic Center, 701 7th Street, Bay City.
The public meeting will be held in “open house” format. Attendees will be able to view hard copies of project materials, ask questions of TxDOT staff and/or consultants, and leave written comments.
There will be no formal presentation at this meeting.
