A total of 72 seniors will graduate from Van Vleck High School starting at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 26, at Burl McKinney Stadium.
The stadium is predicted to be packed with graduates’ friends, family members, and peers.
Valedictorian Lora Svetlik and Salutatorian KaDarius Woodard will be recognized and give speeches addressing their fellow classmates and the audience.
Following Svetlik and Woodard are Garrett Chambless, Gisele Hernandez, Evan Cervantes, Chance Wilson, Daniel Shockey, Segio Rodas Leal, Ronnie Cathey, and Esabella Rodriguez rounding out the top 10 students of the class.
The graduates chose their motto as “We didn’t realize we were making memories, we were just having fun.”
Their class song is “Good Ole Days” by Macklemore and Kesha.
This year’s class flower is the Sunflower with class colors as orange, white, and black.
