On Wednesday, Oct. 30, the Bay City Police Department Narcotics Division arrested Brittney Manciaz and Angel Perales, both of Bay City, for the offenses of manufacturing and delivery of controlled substances.
Seized in the arrest were methamphetamine and multiple Ecstasy pills.
The illegal substances were packaged for delivery or sales, not for personal use.
Also seized were digital scales which is an indication of narcotics being sold.
The suspects were accompanied by three small children, ages 2, 4, and 5.
The suspects were taken to the Matagorda County Jail where they were booked in for numerous drug charges and 3 counts of endangering a child.
As part of the investigation, on Thursday, Oct. 31, Narcotics Division executed a search warrant in the 2500 block of Peach St, Manciaz’s residence.
Some of the items that were seized as a result of the search warrant include 156 grams of Methamphetamine, 22 ecstasy pills, 2 ounces of marijuana, multiple baggies used for the distribution of drugs, and 3 digital scales.
Bay City residents Trevor Boone and Damion Greene were jailed upon the execution of the search warrant for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
A warrant was also issued for Manciaz for the same offense and served at the MCSO where she is presently incarcerated.
