Observance of Martin Luther King Day falls on Monday, Jan. 15 this year.
All federal offices including banking institutions and the United States Postal Service will be closed as well.
County and city offices will be closed in observance Monday.
That observance means Bay City and Van Vleck ISD will all be closed, but return to scheduled hours on the following Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Tidehaven ISD will have school at regular hours on Monday.
The Bay City Sentinel Office will be closed on Monday and re-open with regular business hours on Tuesday.
