As 2022 draws to a close this New Year’s Eve, many local businesses will be closing early in observance.
City offices and the Bay City Public Library will be closed from Friday, Dec. 30, through Monday, Jan. 2, and reopen at regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
County offices will be closed in observance of New Year’s Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.
The U.S. Post Office will be closed Monday as well.
Christmas break lasts until Tuesday, Jan. 4, for Bay City and Tidehaven ISD, with the districts returning to regular hours Wednesday, Jan. 5.
Van Vleck students have Christmas break until Friday, Jan. 6, with classes resuming Monday, Jan. 9.
The Bay City Sentinel office will be closed in observance of New Year’s Friday-Monday, but resume regular office hours Tuesday morning.
