Bay City police arrested a Bay City man for sex abuse of a child after officers and detectives executed an arrest and search warrant at a Cottonwood residence Wednesday, Jan. 15, reports show.
Mattthew Brown, 41, from Bay City, was arrested on one count of Sex Abuse of Child Continuous: Victim under 14, police said.
The charge is a first-degree felony.
The arrest occurred in the 2700 block of Cottonwood at about 10:30 a.m. Jan. 15.
“This case is still under investigation, and we expect other charges to be filed,” said Lt. Stephen Lunsford.
