The Bay City Public Library will once again celebrate National Night Out with a Community Block Party from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at the library.
The front parking of the library will be set up with family-friendly activities, including a chalk art area, a temporary tattoo station, yard games, and informational booths.
Chase, Dora, McGruff, and Blue will be taking shifts at the photo booth throughout the event.
Priority 1, the Bay City Police Department’s band, will be providing the musical entertainment for the event and this will be their first public performance.
National Night Out is part of a nationwide annual community-building campaign promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood unity to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
