The play “No Body to Murder” is a rollicking, fun mystery about an eccentric group of people stuck at the Come on Inn of Nova Scotia during an intense thunderstorm.
No Body to Murder is written by Edith Weiss and directed by CAST board member Gena Lea Smith.
Employees of the hotel hear over the radio that an escaped convict is on the loose and possibly headed for their island.
Pat Menace, the escaped convict, does wind up at the inn, but in disguise.
When a new crime is committed everyone becomes suspicious of each other and hilarity ensues.
Can they sort through the various motives and figure out who the killer is before he strikes again?
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $7 for CAST patrons will be available from cast members with seating limited to 50 each day.
The show will be presented at the Matagorda County Birding & Nature Center on Saturday-Sunday October 16-17 at 7 p.m. as a part of the “Plays in the Park” series sponsored by the Community Actors of South Texas.
