BCJH performs fall concert

   Above, the sixth grade sings during the Bay City Junior High Choir Fall Concert Thursday, Oct. 28, at Keye Ingram Auditorium.
   The junior high choir consists of four groups: the 6th Grade Choir, the BCJH Men's Choir, the BCJH Women's Choir, and the Varsity Choir. 
   The 6th Grade Choir kicked things off with performances of "Music Alone Shall Live," "Simple Gifts," and "Kye Kye Kule." 
   The Men's Choir followed with the classic "Lion Sleeps Tonight," followed by "The Vagabond" and "Dodi Li," a Hebrew love song. 
   The Women's Choir led with "Follow the Drinking Gourd," then sang "Let Everyone Shout and Sing" and ended with a traditional round from the Democratic Republic of the Congo called "Banaha.
   The Varsity Choir ended the night with a three-song set that began with "Poor Wayfaring Stranger." 
   They then sang the classic "Do Re Mi," from The Sound of Music," and were joined by all region choir auditioners for the final song of the evening, "How Can I Keep From Singing?"
    The choir is under the direction of Mrs. Catherine Genzer.
