Dear editor,
I’m writing to express my sincere thanks to all first responders who assisted on Wednesday evening, Nov. 24.
I am deeply grateful for your heroic service and humbled by your bravery in the face of the unknown.
A very special thank you to Bay City Volunteer Fire Dept., Markham Volunteer Fire Dept., Van Vleck Fire Dept., and Midfield Volunteer Fire Dept.
These units came together as one team under the direction of Chief Randy Frontz and worked effectively as they handled the situation.
Additionally, thank you to the Bay City Police Dept. for your calm, steady presence and controlling the site as firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
As we all prepared for the Thanksgiving holiday with our families, we were notified of smoke coming from what was soon to be our new office building at the former Bowlera Fun Center on Texas 35 in Bay City.
For several months, our team had been renovating that facility to become our new office for LynnGroup.
We had just installed our new sign less than 24 hours prior.
While we continue to learn more about what caused this incident, we are thankful that the building was empty.
We’ll overcome this setback, as our commitment to positively impact the lives of our employees, clients and communities remains as strong as ever.
It’s times like these that remind me why I love this community so very much.
