"Bay City swimmers compete at Coastal Bend" By Bob Button BCHS Swimming Coach

   Bay City High School boys finished fifth, girls were seventh, and were 6th overall in combined team scoring from the Coastal Bend Invite Coastal Bend Jan. 7 and 8.
   BCHS Swimmers of the Meet:
   Girls - Megan Moya (2nd in both the 500 freestyle & 100 breaststroke)
   Boys - Matthew Brooks (2nd in the 500 freestyle & 5th in the 200 freestyle).
   We had great fan support and our kids raced to quite a few season and lifetime bests.  
   We dropped quite a bit of time on our relays and are looking ahead to the district meet.   
   The next competition is District 27-5A Championships on Jan. 20 in Victoria.
