Community Actors of South Texas (CAST) hosts “Night on Broadway: A Night of Song & Dance” slated for 6: 30 p.m. Friday- Saturday, Jan. 21-22 and 27-29 at their building, 920 Nichols Avenue, Bay City.
A Sunday “Night on Broadway” (NOB) matinee showing is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Jan. 23 at the same location.
The dinner theater meals will be chicken fettuccini alfredo with salad, bread, and dessert catered by Fat Grass Restaurant.
Seating is limited with tickets at $45 per person.
All tickets must be purchased in advance at baycitycast.com and none will be sold at the door.
“We will be featuring some local dancers as well as musicians in what will be a Night on Broadway unlike any of the past shows,” said NOB director Kara Cowart.
“We are thrilled to present a variety of songs in two acts with a brief intermission between them.”
Song and dance numbers cover a variety of musical genres from jazz to classic rock.
The showcase is appropriate for all ages and features new and familiar faces on stage.
Cast members include Darryl Petersen, Zeinab Ghais, Kara Cowart, Jazmine Harris, Reid Cowart, Ray Garcia, Faith Vargas, Rachel Helmick, Catherine Genzer, Grace Culbreath, Matthew Boren, Robert Cheyne, Charlene Harvey, Darve Smith, Stacey Horton, Kevin Knox, and Daran Norris.
“Ray Garcia is co-directing with me this year and we are excited to work together,” Cowart added.
“If you have been to any of the Night on Broadway shows in the past and loved it, you won’t want to miss this one! We are taking NOB to a whole new level!”
