Anne Idhe, a junior at BCHS, has been nominated as Houston Chronicle’s HS Sports Girl Athlete of the week.
Here is what the Chronicle said about Idhe:
“Athlete of the week stats: 10 kills with a .231 hitting percentage, and 6 digs versus LaMarque.
“13 kills with a .324 hitting percentage, 26 digs, and 2 blocks.”
“Tremendous student athlete who currently ranks No. 1 in her junior class for GPA,” said BCHS Head Volleyball Coach Lawayne Siegert.
Houston Chronicle HS Sports wrote that Ihde helped Bay City go 2-0 recently with some big contributions.
