HomeTown Christmas Celebration Dec. 2-3

From Bay City Parks & Recreation Department

This year’s Hometown Christmas Celebration kicks off at 7 p.m Friday, Dec. 2, with Bay City’s HomeTown Lighted Christmas Parade on 7th Street from Moore Avenue to Texas 60 and ends at the Police Station on 6th Street.
The parade is co-sponsored by the Bay City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture.  There were over 65 parade entries last year.
Trophies will be awarded to the best scoring groups in their category.
Saturday’s event will be from 1-5 p.m. at the USO Building (2105 Avenue M) featuring an ice-skating rink along with photos with Santa and the Grinch.
New for this year is a giant gingerbread house slide for outdoor fun.
Plans also include informational booths, crafts, games, and food trucks.
The event ends that evening with a Christmas Light Hayride starting at 6 p.m.
We hope that you will join the Bay City Parks and Recreation and be a part of the Annual HomeTown Christmas Celebration.
Mark your calendars, tell friends about HomeTown Bay City for Christmas Fun!
