Police investigated a shots fired call in the 1300 block of 7th Street at 2:26 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30.
Before they arrived, dispatch told officers that multiple calls came in for shots fired in the area and one caller said that the shooting was coming from a sports bar.
Arriving officers said they didn’t see anyone causing a disturbance.
Officers checked the area for casings and firearms - there were multiple casings in the parking lot. Officers talked to the victim, an employee of the bar, who said they were trying to close and were not allowing anyone else into the bar.
Some younger subjects got upset, pulled out a gun, and pointed it at the victim.
The victim said the suspect fired into the air right in front of him.
The victim told police that he did not know the suspects.
One witness said that the suspects fired shots from several locations around the bar before leaving.
No one was injured during the incident.

Male reports armed holdup
A 17-year-old male was robbed while walking on Avenue F shortly before 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, Bay City police were told.
Police were sent to the 1500 block of 5th Street about to an aggravated robbery.
When police met with the victim, he said he was walking north on the east side of the 3500 block of Avenue F.
The victim told officers he noticed three black males walking in the 3400 block of Avenue F.
Two of them were wearing black hoodies and blue jeans.
The victim said one suspect pulled a black firearm out and crossed the street toward him.
The suspect pointed the gun at the victim, threatened him and demanded he empty his pockets, the victim told police.
The victim complied and the suspects got away with about $80 in cash.
The victim said he couldn’t get a better description due to the lighting and the subjects pulling the hoodies over the heads.
This case is being investigated by Detective Kim Kunz.
