Two recreational vehicles were destroyed by fire in Sargent Feb. 18, the Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the Sargent Fire Department were sent to 665 CR 201, Sargent, to a reported structure fire at about 1:50 a.m. Feb. 18.
When deputies arrived on scene about 11 minutes later, they found that two fifth-wheel RVs were engulfed in flames.
The fire destroyed both vehicles and other structures on the property, deputies said.
Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance of the Bay City Fire Marshal’s Office in determining a cause of the fire.
After an investigation, the cause of the fire is undetermined, deputies said.
