Van Vleck ISD announces the newest member of the district administrative team.
Mrs. Kari Button will serve as the new Director of Curriculum & Special/Federal Programs.
Button will supervise curriculum and instruction; special & federal programs; and professional development.
Button’s educational experience includes 16 years in education, all in Van Vleck ISD, serving roles as an elementary teacher, high school counselor, and campus administrator.
She attended Texas State University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Lamar University for her Master’s in School Counseling, along with the completion of her Principal certification program.
She and her husband Leon reside in Matagorda County with their 2 dogs, and they enjoy spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, gardening, and making memories with family and friends.
