Matagorda County AgriLife in conjunction with the Matagorda County Cattlemen’s Association will be offering a Pen of 3 Commercial Heifer Clinic at 6 p.m. Monday, July 31, at the Main Arena at the Matagorda County Fair Grounds.
The clinic will cover heifer selection and the care of livestock.
Guest speaker will be Stephen Diebel, co-owner and manager of Diebel Cattle Company, a fifth generation cow-calf operation in Victoria County.
Diebel will discuss heifer selection, the care of livestock and what is needed to grow great replacement heifers.
Please be on the lookout for Rule Book, once it is approved it will be posted to the fair website.
There will be some changes for the 2024 show and we want everyone aware of those changes.
