JSL announces theme for 2024 Charity Ball

       The Bay City Junior Service League held their annual luncheon to announce the 2024 Charity Ball theme, The Ivy: Growing a spirit of service. 
       Ways & Means Chair Amanda Finlay and Decorations Chair Leigh Arlitt revealed their tablescapes and shared their plans for decorations, carrying out the theme for the guests. 
       All proceeds from the JSL Charity Ball stay in Matagorda County. 
       This year recipients include: JSL Scholarships (50% of proceeds), BCISD Education Foundation, Bay City Public Library, Challenger Baseball, The Women’s Pregnancy Center, The Crisis Center, Matagorda County Children’s Museum, MRMC Foundation (earmarked for women and children), and JSL Projects. 
       The 2024 JSL Honorees were also announced. 
       The seniors that will be honored at the next Charity Ball are: Sydney Hudgins, daughter of Samantha Hudgins: Brett Noster, son of Laura Noster: Gaven Ross, son of Ashley Ros: and Luke Meyer, son of Jennie Meyer.
