"God victorious in death and so are we" by: Caleb Gibson

“For My hand made all these things, Thus all these things came into being,” declares the Lord.
“But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.”
(Isaiah 66:2 NASB1995).
This is the attitude that God wants from our heart he wants us to go in prayer with a humble heart.
Why should we have a humble heart?
Because James tells us, “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.” (James 2:10 NASB1995).
We have all sinned and have fallen short, we deserve the judgment of God.
Yeah thankfully because of the cross we can receive mercy. Judgment is not as great as mercy.
Napoleon was well known for his wars and battles.
As humans we are interesting and create different things when ever there is a victory.
Napoleon wanted to make something great so that people would remember him and his victory.
He built this massive triumph arch that is still in France today.
Sadly he was not able to pass under the arch until after his death because it was not complete yet.
Many other nations passed under the arch of triumph because of their victories in war.
Perhaps in heaven we will see something similar.
Maybe instead of a door there will be a arch where we enter into heaven.
We may have small victories here and there but these are nothing in comparison to the victory that Jesus gave to us.
Today we can march under the triumph arch because of what Jesus has done for us.
He is victorious over death and sin and so are we.
Go through the triumphal arch with mercy if you want to win at life be merciful.
Live in freedom, don’t worry about what other people think.
No only care about what God says.
Let the mercy of God be on your life and let that be greater than the judgment of man.
Take time to remember that judgment is not as great as God‘s grace. It is not about how strong our sword is or how great our bow is it is about the mercy of God.
“For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.” (James 2:13 NASB1995).
