Tonight was a tough District Road game. I’m so proud of our team because we had so many reasons to quit or make an excuse for losing and we didn’t.
We played bad, only shot 5-14 from the FT line, only scored 37 points, and we still found a way to win. Corey Austin didn’t have a game to his standard but he still had a game-high 18 points and led us to victory.
He is the MVP in our area. He’s a special talent and he’s like a coach on the court.
Peyton Huerta did an outstanding job defensively on their best player #0 Dickerson. We held him to 0 FG made.
Keemar Allums was also huge for us. Hector Mares is always solid for us and he provided us with a ton tonight. It was a total team effort.
