Lennar, one of the nation's leading homebuilders, has purchased the first 19 homesites at Valor Park in Bay City, with plans for future tracts, from local developer Lynn Development.
The transaction closed on Thursday, Dec. 14 at Bay City Abstract and Title Company.
Lennar is set to break ground on the first homes in Bay City’s newest subdivision in early 2024.
The community will debut a diversity of floor plans for residents of the community.
The new community of Valor Park, a new single-family housing community by Lynn Development, is a first-class residential development on 50+ acres in Bay City.
The planned community will feature more than 200 homes over four phases on the north side of Bay City, with access to new and existing amenities.

Lot sizes in Valor Park will range from 50-70 feet, allowing for homes of various sizes to be constructed throughout the neighborhood.
Lynn Engineering worked closely with the City of Bay City Public Works and Matagorda County Drainage District 1 to obtain the approvals necessary to move the project forward and begin construction.
Local industry and its expansion have created an urgent need for quality, single-family housing in the Bay City area.
Demand and purchasing power exist to support the development of housing and amenities inside city limits.
Few locations are as natural an environment for business growth as Matagorda County.
