Reward offered for sports bar shooting

   Reward money offered for sports bar shooting.
   Bay City Police Department investigators continue to follow up on leads on the shooting from Joe’s Sports Bar on Sunday, January 28, 2024. 
    A 19-year-old Bay City woman is still in the hospital as a result of gunshot wounds.
   “We are offering reward money for credible information that results in the arrest/indictment of those responsible,” reads the Bay City PD Facebook page.
   “Do the right thing.”

   At 2:06 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, the Bay City Police Department received multiple reports of shots fired at Joe’s Sports Bar, 1300 7th St. in Bay City.
   As officers arrived at the location, multiple cars were leaving the scene, however, officers did not initially locate any injured victims.  
   Dispatch then received an additional call with information that a gunshot victim was located near the railroad tracks on JP Davis Avenue. 
   One 19-year-old Bay City woman was found to have a gunshot wound to her hip and was later life-flighted.  
Additional victims who were not injured were narrowly missed by gunfire.  
   Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were called to the scene where additional evidence collection continued.
