The Lady Leopards Softball team finished up their non-district schedule by defeating
Iowa Colony 6 - 2 on Tuesday. The Leps are now 8 - 2 - 1 on the season.
Leading hitters were Keira Reis 2-3, Olivia Britton 2-4 and Serenity Suarez 1- 4 with 2 RBIs.
Also getting in the hit column were Kylie Sazera, Alexa Zuniga, Nicole Ryman and Lakyn Matchett.
The winning pitcher was Keira Reis with Lakyn Matchett picking up another save and striking out 6 in relief.
The Lady Leps will begin district play Tuesday, March 5 at Hempstead.
Game time is set for 5 pm.
